Wheel spacers fit behind your wheels and give you additional clearance from brake and suspension parts. If your wheels rub on the struts or brake calipers, wheel spacers may give you the additional clearance you need by bringing the complete wheel and tire assembly away from those parts. Too much spacing may cause fender-well clearance problems.
